The Williams Center at SUNY Fredonia designed by architect I.M. Pei in the 1970’s, houses the busiest food court on campus. The food service areas consist of a grill, deli, espresso and juice bar. There are four seating options for dining; banquettes, stage/lounge areas, counter, and banquet room. Low ceilings and limited natural light made the goal of enlivening the space a challenge.
Interior design consultants, Roche & Company teamed with the project architect to plan the space, and to specify interior finishes and furniture for the renovation.
